Od zdjęcia do obrazu
Ich nutze Fotografie zumeist als Ausgangspunkt für einen digitalen Gestaltungsprozess. Fotos fungieren für mich wie die Malpalette eines Malers als Materialsammlung, Misch- und Strukturelemente.
Der kleine Filmspot zeigt die Ausgangssituation an einem trüben Januartag. Vom Fenster meiner Wohnung im zweiten Stock verfolgte ich den Wintereinbruch und war fasziniert von den Strukturen, die sich mir aufgrund des Schnees auf der Straße und dem Verkehr, der darin Spuren hinterließ boten. Ein paar Fotos später saß ich am Rechner und entwickelte Bildideen. Ergebnis waren in der Folge zwei Bildserien, die die zuvor gesehenen horizontalen Linienmuster aufnahmen und weiter abstrahierten.

For me, photos function like a painter's palette as a collection of materials, mixing and structural elements.
The small film spot shows the initial situation on a gloomy January day. From the window of my second-floor flat, I followed the onset of winter and was fascinated by the structures that presented themselves to me due to the snow on the street and the traffic that left tracks in it. A few photos later, I sat at the computer and developed image ideas. The result was subsequently two series of images that took the horizontal line patterns seen before and abstracted them further.
Używam fotografii głównie jako punktu wyjścia do cyfrowego procesu projektowania. Dla mnie fotografie funkcjonują jak paleta malarska, jako zbiór materiałów, mieszanie i elementy strukturalne.
Krótki film na dole strony pokazuje pewną sytuację w ponury styczniowy dzień. Stała się ona w pewnym sensie zapalnikiem mojego kolejnego projektu. Z okna mojego mieszkaniana na drugim piętrze śledziłem nadejście zimy i byłem zafascynowany strukturami, które ukazały mi się dzięki śniegowi na ulicy, ruchowi ulicznemu, który pozostawił w nim ślady. Kilka zdjęć później, usiadłem przy komputerze i rozwinąłem pomysły na obrazy. W rezultacie powstały dwie serie obrazów, które wykorzystały widziane wcześniej wzory poziomych linii i jeszcze bardziej je wyabstrahowały.
