1994

Ein Fest der Begegnung mit Kunst, Aktion und Musik

1996 entwickelten wir dieses Konzept für ein interdisziplinäres Kunstfest. Wir luden Künstler*innen ein, einen Beitrag speziell dafür zu entwickeln und boten Ihnen die Möglichkeit zu arbeiten, indem wir ihre Arbeiten finanzierten.

Ausgangspunkt waren Überlegungen, die schließlich zu einem Aushang an der Theaterakademie Stuttgart führten.
Ein wesentlicher Aspekt des Konzeptes, war ein Kommunikationsexperiment, Begegnungen von verschiedenen gesellschaftlichen Gruppen zu initiieren, die in der Regel im alltäglichen Leben nicht stattfinden, eine Hochzeitsgesellschaft, ein kunstinteressiertes Publikum, flanierende Gelegenheitsgäste - eine Durchmischung von privat und öffentlich.
Die Herausforderung: Würde es gelingen, Kunst und Privates so zu verbinden, dass keines der beiden für das andere lediglich zu einem Vehikel degradiert wird, dass es also wirklich um eine künstlerische Auseinandersetzung geht, dass es aber zugleich  auch wirklich um menschliche Verbindung, Familie und deren Bedürfnisse nach selbstvergewissernden Ritualen geht?
Als Katalog zur Ausstellung konzipierten wir ein "Hochzeitsalbum" im klassischem Design. Hier wurden sowohl das "falsche Hochzeitspaar" zelebriert, sämtliche künstlerischen Aktionen aber auch das Fest selbst dokumentiert.

Der Artikel macht deutlich, dass die obige Fragestellung zumindest für den Kunst-Teil aufgegangen ist. Die Veranstaltung wurde seitens der Presse deutlich als Kunst-Veranstaltung rezipiert. Den privaten Aspekt des Experiments konnten wir in unserer Familie verifizieren.

A festival of encounter with art, action and music

In 1996 we developed this concept for an interdisciplinary art festival. We invited artists to develop a contribution specifically for it and offered them the opportunity to work by financing their work.

The starting point were considerations that eventually led to a notice at the Stuttgart Theatre Academy.
An essential aspect of the concept, was a communication experiment, to initiate encounters of different social groups, which usually do not take place in everyday life, a wedding party, an art-interested audience, strolling casual guests - a mixture of private and public.
The challenge: would it be possible to combine art and the private sphere in such a way that neither is merely degraded to a vehicle for the other, that it is really about an artistic exploration, but that at the same time it is also really about human connection, family and their need for self-affirming rituals?
As a catalogue for the exhibition, we designed a "weddingalbum" in a classic design. Here, the "fake wedding couple" was celebrated, all artistic actions were documented, but also the celebration itself.

The article makes it clear that the above question was answered,at least for the art part. The event was clearly perceived as an art event by the press. We were able to verify the private aspect of the experiment in our family.

Festiwal: Spotkania ze sztuką, akcją i muzyką

W 1996 roku opracowaliśmy koncepcję interdyscyplinarnego festiwalu sztuki. Zaprosiliśmy artystów aby zostali kuratorami własnej części programu. Zaoferowaliśmy im ponadto możliwość sfinansowania ich pracy.

Punktem wyjścia projektu były rozważania, które ostatecznie doprowadziły do ogłoszenia w Akademii Teatralnej w Stuttgarcie.
Najważniejszym aspektem naszego projektu był eksperyment komunikacyjny, mający na celu zainicjowania spotkań różnych grup społecznych, które w normalnych warunkach nie mają szans na spotkanie się w codziennym życiu. Włączylismy w ten projekt różne sytuacje życiowe, gdzie sfera prywatna (goście weselni )miesza sie ze sferą życia publicznego (akcja artystyczna).
Naszym wyzwaniem i naczelnym celem bylo połączenie sztuki i sfery prywatnej w taki sposób, aby żadna z nich nie została zdegradowana do roli podrzędnej. Podczas tej artystycznej eksploracji chcieliśmy podkreślić więź międzyludzką, rolę rodziny i jej potrzebę samourzeczywistnienia.
Jako katalog do wystawy zaprojektowaliśmy "album ślubny" w klasycznej stylistyce. Tutaj celebrowano "fałszywą parę ślubną", dokumentowano wszelkie działania artystyczne, ale także samą uroczystość.
Oddana para aktorów - nasz wkład w to wydarzenie artystyczne.
Z artykułu jasno wynika, że na powyższe pytanie udzielono odpowiedzi, przynajmniej w części dotyczącej sztuki. Wydarzenie to zostało jednoznacznie odebrane przez prasę jako wydarzenie artystyczne. Udało nam się zweryfikować prywatny aspekt eksperymentu w naszej rodzinie.
